Rules for using Pushpinn

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pushpinn at https://pushpinn.com (the "Service"). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Pushpinn lets you discover nearby places, check in, track day and week streaks, create private places, and view check-in history on a map. Features may change, break, or be discontinued at any time. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract and meet the minimum age in your jurisdiction (and at least 13). You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your Google account secure.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Abuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service
Scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law
Use the Service for unlawful harassment, fraud, or harm
Misrepresent your identity or location in a way that harms others

4. Your content

You retain rights to check-ins and private places you create. You grant us a limited license to host and display that content as needed to operate the Service for you. You must not submit illegal or infringing content.

5. Third-party services

Sign-in is provided by Google. Place data may come from Overture Maps. Maps may use OpenFreeMap and/or OpenStreetMap tiles. Analytics may use Google Analytics after you sign in. Those services have their own terms; we are not responsible for them.

6. Location accuracy

Locations, nearby places, and map tiles may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on Pushpinn for emergencies or safety-critical decisions.

7. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, jonkhoo@gmail.com and Pushpinn will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or check-in history, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we shut down the Service. You may stop using Pushpinn at any time and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms when the Service changes. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
